Biography

MD. JUEAL MIA received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science and engineering from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences, Florida International University (FIU), where he is a Graduate Research Assistant. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications. Before joining FIU, he served as a Faculty Member with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, for more than six years. His research interests include privacy and security issues in federated learning, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, and data mining. He is a member of the Sustainability, Optimization, and Learning for InterDependent Networks Laboratory (solid lab).
